Its a diverse mix of independant study (online or with CDROM), personal tutoring (correcting weaknesses, feedback, communication) and (where available) onsite training. Because we've seen time and again how eLearning can only be effective when the student has opportunities to apply what he or she is learning, orally and in writing and when the student can benefit from help and motivation from qualified language trainers.

Mastery of a language comes with speaking. Interaction and comprehension -- these are two keystones that -- even in the age of internet communication -- first and foremost make a student of language into a competent user of language.
At virtualingua we offer numerous possibilites to practice and exchange information. You can communicate both with your trainer or with fellow students via Email, forums, or your own course blog. You can also take advantage of our chatroom. All of which allow you to record and analyze your progress.
Or, you can telephone with your teacher (gratis via Skype) and receive personal telephone training.

Also unique to our online school is that you can select between three different learning environments.
